Care takers play a vital role in schools being responsible for the maintenance and security of school buildings.
They often take over the management of frontline caretaking, cleaning and security.
We could also provide mobile caretakers, responsible for several different sites.
Ensuring that the school sites are maintained in a safe, clean and secure condition our caretakers will provide will vary widely depending on the size of the school, but will often include some or all of the following
Accountabilities
Responsibility for opening premises and ensuring security with all alarms set properly after use
Undertake key holder responsibilities as first point of call
Ensuring maintenance of all school buildings, grounds and utilities, operating an agreed programme of planned preventative maintenance
To undertake cleaning of a specified area when required including before / after lettings
To move and assist in moving furniture, equipment materials around the premises,including before and after lettings if required
To have due regard for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Such other responsibilities allocated appropriate to the grade of the post
